JOURNEY TO THE HEAVEN

Gosaikunda trek 2021 

This is the most enjoyable and unforgettable trek  in my life . This lake is situated above 4300m from the altitude of sea level in Nepal and holy place of Nepali people. Especially , many people came here from many parts of Nepal in the occasions of the janaipurnima  . we completed trek within 3 days from dhunche of  rasuwa district .It depends accordingly how fast can you walk .

Day 1 

         It was mid march 2021, woke up early and we started journey from bhaktapur by 6 am . I was  very excited for the trek and I  had never gone such a long journey and  experienced in my  life . We pack all those necessary things required in the trek . We started journey from  the kathmandu through bus  by 8am in the morning with the cup of tea which is the favourite for every nepali people . we headed towards our journey and finally we reached in dunche which is the headqurters of rasuwa district . . we started our trek from dhunche by 2 pm  .It was quite difficult trek which is the first trek of my life ,but with the efforts of  team it' s been less difficult .It was a sloppy land through which we have to walk  and through  the  lantang national park which was the first Himalyan national park of Nepal . finally , with the fear of wildlife nepal and  sruggling towards our  destination we reached dhimsha by the late evening .  We were all tired and hungry so we had dinner and slept.

       

 Day 2 

         We woke early in the morning and continue journey from dhimsha by 5 am with a cup of tea .The view was getting beautiful. It was cold morning and our leg and hands are aching . with such a cold morning we headed towards our journey . we came to know that in the summer all the forest are being covered by rhodendron so the best time to visit gosikunda is summer .  After Cholangati, the real beauty of the trek start with the most of the snow are covered by snow and mountainous enviroment . we are very excited for the upcoming trek and with all the difficulties we were headed through Cholangpati to lauribina to sarswoti mandir. In the sarswoti mandir  the wind blows very high with the cold air with the increase in altitude level . we were having some launch there and continued our journey walked and walked . with all the difficulties finally we reached there in the late afternoon . The view of lake was so beautiful and clear that day and the beautifullness was also added by the snow fall . we enjoy the snow fall . I had never seen snow falling and at that day i feilt that live . We were all tired and hungry so we had dinner and slept threre in the gosikunda loudge that night .

Day 3 

         The day was started with the beautiful sunshine through the mountain in the morning and the clear view of reflection of mountain in  the gosaikunda lake and we started decending .   we walked slowly and reached dhunche at around 1 pm . we had some meal there and through bus we reached kathmandu by late evening .
